Regional Meeting on Taxes and Tariffs on Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs)

NetMark and the East, Central, and Southern Africa Health Community (ECSA-HC) Secretariat, with funding from USAID/East Africa, will organize a three-day meeting to review the status of taxes and tariffs on ITNs in Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Kenya and Malawi. The participating countries will be reviewing opportunities, constraints, implementation gaps and potential solutions. The ultimate goal of this meeting is to renew attention on the need to implement effective measures that lead to the reduction of taxes and tariffs in the participating countries.
